He probably does appreciate them, being as he played with Jerry & Bob - at the 5/27/89 Oakland gig - the Aids Benefit thing (which circulates on vid) They are backing John Fogerty - Jerry, Bob, Randy on bass..." I figured Randy would be the Deadhead, and I didn't realize he played that show! I was there, even backstage that day, but at the time wouldn't have known who he was... and danced rather than watched! Too bad I didn't realize, it would have added a reality layer to my gag.
