    John is the first guy to actually sound like Jerry. All the others played their own style with the band. Is that good or bad? Personally, I love it!. Some people don’t like him because he’s a Jerry rip-off but I’m so happy to be able to shut my eyes and hear that Jerry sound that I’m quite OK with a Jerry impersonator. None of the others were Jerry impersonators. Further is the best Grateful Dead cover band I’ve heard! (Yes, that’s right, I call them a Grateful Dead cover band!)
