Wow, i have seen many shows since the early 80’s and this show should have been called the yawn fest. It’s MSG step it up a bit for gods sake. Reading was 1 million times better. What a waste of time and money. What a shame.
Not seriously, happycat.
Whatever you were on John, cut the dose.
Anyone who’s seen ‘many shows since the early 80s’ would NOT have called Saturday night a yawn-fest. The band was screaming. The Garden was rocking. Help>Slip>Shakedown was jamming. Terrapin – all of it, was amazing. Dark Star>Other 1>Stephen>Eleven …r u kiddin’ me? Grrrrreat f’n show!
I thought last night’s show (11-20-10) at MSG was fantastic! Only thing, the CD’s I purchased after the show are defective 🙁
Seriously now YAWN fest were you at the same show? I mean wtf MONSTER F’ing help>Slip>shake I mean seriously that transition was like a nuclear explosion! (worth the price of admission in and of itself) And YES I have seen Jerry on the MSG stage looking like a stiff breeze woulda blown him over….Phiil and Bobby up there Fairly DANCING (most of the time) is a beautiful thing PERIOD!
Thank your lucky cats down under the stars….that they even BOTHER!
And….furthurmore….they have kicked my ass with ALMOST everything from this leg so far…..and maybe it AINT for everyone..but I would prefer that Captain negativity over there would stay HOME if ya don’t wanna LISTEN.
Ha, lmfao. Well said.
uhhhhhhhhhhhh WOW… I can honestly say that I WAS EXHAUSTED, and I might have yawned due to the circumstances of being tired and being up and traveling since 7 that morning, but the MUSIC had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!! Exceptional show, and I’ve never felt happier leaving a show than that one! Explosive bass notes from Phil, and an also explosive crowd! I was just under the nosebleed section and the group I was around was absolutely PUMPED! Which also added to the amazing show. But any section of the crowd I looked at also seemed very ECSTATIC!!! I rate this show 7 stars!!! One for each of em
Excellent show. To get music that good at a very resonable proce (59.50) is amazing these days. I have been going to see the Dead since 73. Things have changed in the past 37 years, but the glow and feeling of hearing the dead never goes away. I really enjoy seeing all “the kids” now into the Dead. Anyone who called this a yawner must have very very high expectations. It is no longer the 70’s, 80’s or early 90’s. Take what you get these days and enjoy it and appreciate it. I know I do at 57 years old.
