Early this morning, Tuesday, December 5th, John Mayer was admitted into the hospital for emergency appendectomy forcing the Dead & Company December 5th concert in New Orleans to be postponed.

No information on when the rescheduled date will be.
Dead and Company has two more scheduled stops for their Fall Tour 2017, Orlando Florida on Thursday, and Sunrise Florida on Friday. No word yet on those shows.
While appendectomy is a standard and easy procedure, recovery times vary, so John being able to play in 2 days is possible, but it is also possible he’ll need more time
Deadheadland will share information as soon as possible.
