For the last 5 years, HeadCount has organized Participation Row at LOCKN’. 2017 was the biggest Participation Row in HeadCount history: 8,924 actions taken, $18,500 raised for organizations in auctions, 4,000 pounds of food collected by Conscious Alliance, and 575 voters registered or signed up for election alerts. As HeadCount puts it, “There are many elements to Participation Row, but it starts and ends with the idea that participation matters. Whether it’s registering to vote, learning about issues so you can make informed choices at the polls, or taking socially and environmentally-conscious actions – we all can make a positive difference when being at a show.”
