This will be a LIVE STREAM Seder and will include musical performances during dinner. This is similar to what we have done in years past at TxR, The participants will each be in their own homes, and collaborating via a Zoom feed, which will be streamed and shared to several channels where you can view and participate in your home as well.
In these trying times I, personally, just got hit with another curve ball that couldn’t have come at a more vulnerable moment. A few days back I received word that my best friend and four legged companion, Daisy, has a cancerous parathyroid nodule in her neck. Luckily, we caught it in a very early stage and it is operable. The bad news is that the estimated cost of the procedure is going to be in the range of $9,000 (original priced at $5,00) and must be done ASAP. Needless to say this will completely drain me of any savings that I have, and then some. The thing that I have always turned to, in any crisis, is music.
On Sunday, April 5th, I will be doing an epic long set of music to raise any type of donation, small or large, from this great community of people that I have been so deeply embedded in. Beginning at 6pm, I will start my set with the friendly help of Deadheadland, on facebook to stream it live. I will also be streaming from my personal Instagram account too. Once the Deadheadland stream ends, at 8pm, I will be picking up where i left off from my own personal page and play on into the night. I hope you can join and help the cause. Many of my fellow musicians who have rehearsed at my studio over the years know Daisy well and can vouch for how sweet she is. She is such an important part of my life. Please share far and wide.
