Dead & Company honored students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland Florida, throughout Monday night’s show in nearby Sunrise Florida. Band members wore #MSDSTRONG t-shirts, and many from MSD High were there at the show, and got to hang out with the boys as guests of the band.

The entire show, the choice of songs, seemed to speak specific to the recent tragic shooting that took place at MSD.

As Grateful Dead songs do, each song in this beautifully crafted show takes on a new depth of meaning and feeling in this context.

Thank you Dead & Company, a heartfelt gesture of kindness and love, and support for the survivors.
